Finally made it in after promising myself to try for awhile. Boss ordered the Ox-tail stew with rice. Good size portion although I recall the sauce was much thicker decades ago. But fortunately still good. I had the Rigatoni Vongole, which was still good despite a smaller portion. Goes with the times I guess. Meals came with a cup of soup or salad. Price may be considered reasonable based on the neighborhood and today's environment. All aspect of our meal we're on time and staff, actually the owner, were very attentive.

Good simply prepared food. I always get the linguine w clams - white sauce. They have been around for a long time and the food is always consistent. Thank you!

Consistent and simple. They remind me of diners back when. They are my go to for when I'm craving fresh squeezed orange juice and real lemonade. Also, omelettes are always great here. Provencal omelette is my favorite. You can also get steamed rice.

Italian food done by Chinese staff. Only in SF! I've been a fan since I was a young man living in the Tendernob neighborhood in the early 90s, so it's all about nostalgia for me. Since the Larkin St location closed, I had to try their Richmond location. I'm happy to report the food has not changed. I recommend the linguine with white clams or Fettuccine Della Casa, which I used to order back in the day. Be forewarned that it is very rich; I remember seeing the containers of half and half in the kitchen. Only thing they're missing is the escargot which they used to have.

I really enjoyed their Eggs Florentina. A generous portion of fresh blanched spinach on an english muffin topped with perfectly poached eggs and just the right amount of hollandaise, served with crispy hash browns. It's my go-to there. The place is quiet and the service friendly. This place is a bit pricey overall, but the eggs florentina is one of the least expensive items on the menu, at $18.

Brings back so many memories! I remember coming here since I was a kids in the early 90s. Still the same original owner. Can't believe they're still around. They must be doing something right! Food was just like what i remembered! very tasty! Complimentary garlic bread was so flavorful! House salad with the house vinaigrette was on point! Let's not forget the star of the show, the baby clam linguine with white creamy sauce. My go to pasta since I was a kid! Restaurant is pretty outdated but it's not about how the restaurant looks. It's the great service and excellent food!
